Sample Specifications
Soft = Al, Cu, annealed steels. Medium = mild & low-alloy steels. Hard = hardened tool steels. Very Hard = nitrided, case-hardened, ceramics, carbides. Cemented carbides and ceramics are typically rated in HRA or HV. Pick "Very Hard" or "Unknown" if HRC doesn't apply.
Mount diameter affects fixture and platen sizing on automated prep equipment.
