Mechanical Engineer II
Engineering Support & Product Development
Support day-to-day engineering work, customer issues, and active product development. The ideal candidate has prior industry experience and contributes quickly while learning our systems.
Key responsibilities
- Support product design, documentation, and engineering changes
- Troubleshoot customer and production issues
- Generate drawings, specs, and technical documentation
- Work closely with operations and sales to support customer needs
- Participate in continuous-improvement initiatives
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for field and production issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 2–5 years of relevant engineering experience
- Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks or equivalent)
- Comfortable working cross-functionally
- Hands-on, practical engineering mindset
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude (interface programming is a plus)
- Machine-shop experience is valuable
- Writes assembly drawings, product manuals, and service documentation
Nice to have
- Experience with lab, industrial, or manufacturing equipment
- Familiarity with or interest in metallography and sample-preparation processes
