Equipment downtime costs more than service.
A cutter that won't hold a profile or a press with low ram pressure stalls analysis, pushes out QC deadlines, and sends work to expensive third-party labs. KeepPACE catches the small issues before they turn into downtime.
Maximize uptime
Scheduled inspections catch wear, drift, and contamination before they take a system offline. Production samples don't sit waiting on a service call.
Protect your investment
Factory-trained technicians and OEM parts let a cutter, press, or polisher run its full design life instead of limping along on borrowed time.
Process consistency
Reviewed prep procedures and annual consumable check-ins help a new operator on second shift get to the same microstructure as your most senior tech.
More than a maintenance visit.
Every KeepPACE agreement combines preventive maintenance with the support, training, and parts access a working lab needs.
-
Preventive maintenanceLubrication, belt and pump inspection, alignment checks, and electrical and pneumatic verification.
-
Priority responsePhone, email, and video diagnostics from the engineers who built your system.
-
On-site serviceTier-based annual service credits applied to factory-direct on-site visits.
-
Parts & consumables10–20% off spare parts, repairs, and recommended consumables based on your tier.
-
Method & process reviewAnnual sit-down with our applications team to evaluate procedures and yields.
-
Operator trainingRefresher training for new staff plus access to PACE technique libraries and SOPs.
A clear cadence. No chasing service calls.
Every KeepPACE agreement runs on the same rhythm. We handle scheduling, paperwork, and reporting so your team can focus on samples.
Onboarding & baseline
We inventory every covered system, document its current configuration, and get on the calendars of your facilities and procurement contacts.
Scheduled maintenance
Annual or biannual visits (depending on tier) for inspection, adjustment, and proactive part replacement, booked around your production windows.
Priority response
When something does go wrong, a dedicated service contact works the issue from remote diagnostics through on-site repair. You don't rebuild the story each call.
Annual review & optimization
Each year we look back at service activity, consumable usage, and process drift, then recommend adjustments for the next.
Individual System Plans
Choose the level of support that matches your lab's workload and risk tolerance. Every tier includes annual check-ins, direct engineer support, and parts discounts.

Request a QuoteEnterprise Coverage
An option for multi-system, multi-location customers whose support needs outgrow the individual plans. Every Enterprise agreement is shaped around your equipment, your sites, and how your team buys.
Per-system plans get unwieldy past a handful of systems. When you're managing service across multiple sites with different production cycles and QA programs, individual agreements stop scaling. Enterprise rolls coverage into a single program you can renew, expand, and report on as one.
- Multi-year termsLock in pricing with 2- or 3-year agreements.
- Single PO, single invoiceOne agreement covering every system across every site.
- Service terms in writingResponse targets and visit cadence written into the agreement up front.
- Documented service historyVisit notes, parts replaced, and repair history available as PDFs for your records.
- Single point of contactOne person handles your account across scheduling, escalation, and renewal.
- Coverage that scalesNorth American sites plus qualified international partners for global programs.
How an Enterprise plan gets built
These aren't off-the-shelf. Pricing, response targets, visit cadence, and reporting all get worked out when we build your proposal. The starting point is a conversation.
Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions we hear most often during procurement and renewal conversations.
Which equipment is eligible for KeepPACE?
Any PACE Technologies metallographic system: cutters, mounting presses, grinder/polishers, vibratory polishers, and hardness testers. Plans cover the system itself plus its dedicated peripherals (recirculating tanks, cooling units, controllers).
Can we combine multiple systems on one plan?
Yes. Multi-system labs typically prefer a single Enterprise agreement over juggling per-system plans. Enterprise coverage is quoted custom based on the equipment, sites, and cadence you need. Contact us and we'll scope it together.
Do plans cover travel and on-site labor?
Tiered annual service credits offset on-site labor. Travel is billed separately at standard rates and is consolidated onto one invoice for multi-site visits when we can group them.
How are emergencies handled?
Plus and Enterprise plans get priority response with a named escalation contact. We start with remote diagnostics (phone or video) and dispatch a technician on-site if we can't resolve it remotely. Loaner equipment is available on supported plans.
What service documentation do you provide?
Every PM visit and repair gets written up: date, technician, what we found, what we changed, and any parts replaced. Records are available as PDFs or can be pushed into your maintenance system. If you need a specific format for your internal documentation, tell us up front and we'll work to match it.
Is there a minimum term?
Individual plans run a year. Enterprise agreements run 1, 2, or 3 years with pricing locked for the term.
What if we want to add coverage mid-term?
Systems can be added at any time and pro-rated to the current term. A new install drops into your existing agreement; you don't restart paperwork.
